Young Adults, Ages 18 – 35
Men and women ages 18 to 35 from diverse backgrounds share the need for UU community and
a place to explore their spiritual and ethical journeys. They attend Sunday services together, may
go to lunch following, sit together at Parish Suppers and congregational events and aim to have
monthly social gatherings. There have been game nights, movie times and desserts. Everyone is
welcome and encouraged to help with ideas and planning. Another opportunity is our Small
Group Ministry, which fosters a sense of spiritual friendship and strengthens our growing community. Local college students as well as all young adults in the area are welcome.
See monthly Newsletter and weekly Meeting House Times for schedules and contact info.
Campus Group for College-Aged UUs — B.U.U.U.G.
Brown University Unitarian Universalist Group
Lovingly nicknamed BUUUG, this UU campus group had its constitution officially approved by the
University Council of Students in 2003 and includes students from Brown, the Rhode Island
School of Design and other neighboring colleges. The group is supported by First Unitarian and
hosts events on campus and at our church. The group looks forward to connecting with young
adults in Providence as well as in the Ballou Channing District. All young adults are welcome!
